The production process of woven labels manufacturing is a set of steps that mix manual operations with technologically advanced processes on special equipments and looms. Woven labels are made through the weaving of yarns by various methods to obtain the requested pattern.
The use of different resources and steps makes the management of the entire production process particularly difficult. Gutenberg ERP was designed to optimize each step and simplify the management of the entire production flow, from raw materials to orders and quotations.
Gutenberg ERP is a MIS software, a customizable web application dedicated to the graphic industry, an ERP software tailored for roll labels printing. It’s possible to access to all Gerp features from any device which can run a modern web browser, like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge.

Main features
Quotations
- The quotation module can quickly compare production costs between different looms.
- It allows to make quotations for products from "templates" such as woven taffeta labels, selvedge with specific processes such as cutting and folding, double-sided adhesive, ironing, ultrasonic cutting, etc.
Sale orders
- Order confirmation input in manual or automatic mode from Excel, CSV or API file formats.
- During the order entry phase, Gerp checks the delivery dates, the estimated costs and the warehouse availability of raw materials.
- Commissions are generated together with the confirmation of the sale orders, with all technical data pre-filled in the quotation.
Production monitoring
- Data collection from the PC next to the machine can be executed in manual or automatic mode (with industry 4.0 connected devices).
- The data could be displayed in real time on the job scheduling dashboard.
- Gerp could track raw materials batches by reading the supplier's barcode, or by creating identification labels in the warehouse. The used batches are linked to the order and allow complete traceability between the production batch and raw materials.
Production planning
- Job planning on the looms with control of production times, beam available.
- Automatic check of the delivery dates.
Warehouse charge and delivery of products
- The final product is loaded into the warehouse and the shipping office is noticed to proceed by preparing and issuing transport documents.
- Automatic filing of transport documents with customer’s order number, production lot number, reel packaging data, certification data (like FSC).
Final balance analysis
- Cost control and analysis with actual costs measured through data collection from the looms.
- Gerp's final balance analysis tool is very powerful and it’s able to associate technical characteristics of products with orders from customers, productions on a single machine or a specific sizes.
- All the data from various reports can be exported in CSV format and usable with Microsoft Excel and OpenOffice.

Our software house developes using a Subversion version control and PhpUnit and Jenkins automatic tests for updates on our trial server.
